try alpha.

Friday Nights at 6.30 pm at St Cath's commencing 22 September

What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering?

Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, non-pressurised environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you.

What does a typical session look like?

Each evening we will gather on Zoom for a little over an hour.  We will watch one Alpha video per evening.  The topics include topics like: Who is Jesus?, How Can I Have Faith? How Can I Pray? and How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?  Each video goes for about 30 minutes.  After the video we will have a chat where we can each raise any thoughts, comments, objections or questions that may be on our minds or that the video will have sparked.

What if I participate on the first evening and don't want to continue?

The first evening is a no-obligation introductory session. We won't be offended if you don't like it or decide that this isn't for you.  After that there are ten Wednesday evenings worth of content.  All are welcome!  All perspectives will be heard and respected. 24 million people in 100 countries have participated in the Alpha Course, we'd love to share it with you too.

How do I register for the introductory session?

Simple provide your contact details below and we will send you a Zoom link a bit closer to the date.
