TO TEACH
We aim to be a church where the Bible is taught in an informative, relevant and conversational style.
We create flexible learning environments for children and adults.
We value children as disciples and encourage them to be seen and heard and to teach.
TO PRAY IN POWER
We teach people how to pray with power and authority.
We prioritise passionate music that is fresh, relevant and connects with the heart.
TO GIVE FREELY
We provide opportunities to know Jesus and grow in relationship with Him free of charge.
We provide free meals and free services to the community.
TO SEEK PEOPLE OF PEACE
We seek to work collaboratively with other community and church groups, both locally and globally.
We value being a culturally diverse church.

St Catharine's was originally a church plant from St Mary's Anglican Church in 1875. We re-launched in 2013 with a fresh vision to be a place where people could come as they are, and could find a new beginning in their faith journey. We are a charismatic church in the Anglican tradition, which means we value Biblical teaching, the sacramental life of the Church universal, and hold to the Nicene Creed of 325 and the 39 Articles of 1571.
